The Perigord Noir, where our Gites are located, has been inhabited by prehistoric man more than 15.000 years ago. The region is also covered with local medieval castles and
villages whose houses are built of the typical yellow limestone rock and brown tiles roops.
The region, trough which focus the Dordogne and Vezere rivers, is mostly made up of gentle rolling hills covered by chestnut forests.

We at Les Gites La Garrigue welcome you in a quiet setting in the middle of the "Golden triangle" made up of the medieval city of Sarlat, the town of Montignac and its world famous Lascaux
prehistoric rock cavern and the town of Les Eyzies also known for its prehistoric museum and numerous rock caverns. It is the ideal base for your visits and food gastronomy.
Les Gites La Garrigue are family run and made up of 7 cottages housing either 2 - 4 persons or 4 - 6 persons for a total maximun capacity of 38 persons. Two
swimming pools (one heated) are available for your relax while your children can the playground.
Free activities are offered in summer.
